Planting & Delivery
The cost for us to plant trees is 60% of the price of the tree. For example, for a $100 tree, we would plant it for $60. If we are planting, there is no delivery charge if you are within 20 miles of us. There is $2.00/mile charge for delivery after the first 20 miles.
Mulching
We highly recommend that the trees be mulched around. Mulch helps retain moisture, helps control weeds/grass from crowding the tree, and insulates the roots from heat and cold. Our price to mulch is $6/tree.
Staking
We generally do not recommend staking. Allowing trees to sway develops ‘stress wood’ in the trunk and helps develop a stronger root system. However, if a tree begins to lean, it should be staked as soon as possible. If your tree is being planted in an area of high wind, we recommend staking. Our price to stake a tree when we plant is $18/tree.
Warranty
A warranty is provided for trees that we plant. If we do not plant the tree, we do not provide a warranty.
